Philippines ranks third for searching AI on Google worldwide

The Philippines ranks third in all searches for AI-related concerns worldwide, and places fourth for generative AI.

This ranking is based on recent data from Google Trends, with only China and Ethiopia above placements. The platform provides users with data on trending searches from netizens residing in different countries.

The results are almost in real-time, with data measured by recording how many times a popular keyword is searched for. This is inclusive of comparisons to other terms within a certain period.

The graph above suggests that Filipinos are taking a hefty interest in the growth of AI. The country is developing through technological awareness, economic aspirations, educational initiatives, and global trends coming with adopting AI.

Presently, there is a wide selection of AI tools made available for netizens in the Philippines. We have OpenAI‘s ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
