PSA launches PhilSys Step 1 online registration

Listen to article

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has officially launched the PhilSys pre-registration website for the country’s national ID.

As per the PSA PhilSys website, the online system is currently open to resident Filipinos. The PSA reminds that those who have completed Step 1 registration through house-to-house collection no longer need to register online to avoid issues with their registration.

Moreover, the home page also indicates that support for iPhone/iPad is coming soon.

To begin the registration, registrants will be asked to enter their Philippine mobile number or email address. Unfortunately, during our attempt to register, a technical error occurred.

The PSA, however, has issued an advisory on its Facebook page regarding the technical difficulties.

At the very start of the April 39 advisory, I open the link to register, but sad to say I failed to do so in many trials, ’till the advisory came out regarding the technical difficulties, so It’s understandable but I hope you can fix it immediately so we can start to register. Good day.
