PLDT to spend Php50 billion in 2018 to improve your internet

Listen to article

PLDT has announced that it will set aside Php50 billion for its capital expenditure budget for 2018 to improve the company’s internet service in the Philippines.

According to a report by Interaksyon, PLDT will increase its capital expenditure budget to a record high of at least Php50 billion in 2018, which is significantly higher than the Php38 billion allocated for 2017.

The new budget will be used for expansion and to improve its mobile and fixed-line services.

PLDT Chairman, President, and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan said that the company plans to “future-proof” their network and get ready in case China Telecom enters the Philippine market.

Sana unahin nila pagandahin yung bwisit nilang service. 1 month bago naayos net namin so sobrang hassle. yung standard shit nila na 72hrs is masyado din matagal. tho ndi din naman natutupad un kasi inaabot ng weeks/months bago maayos un net

Nakakahiya Rin Ang globe.
Pwede daw ang mas malakas na internet kapag mas madali Ang permit processing.

Lol. Malakas na internet ng globe… Ayaw lang ibigay sa mga current subscribers.
Ang extra bandwidth ng globe ay nilagay sa Ayala malls free 1 hour go WiFi at paid on the go wifi, at sa globe at home prepaid wifi.

Haha! After hearing the na papapasukin na ng gobyerno ang China to compete with the telcos here. After, letting the Filipinos suffer for poor internet speed and connection for so many years. Patawa talaga itong si Pangilinan. Dapat noon niyo pa ginawa yan! Hindi yung ngayon lang na may papasok kasi na ibang player kaya kayo nag re release ng ganyang balita.
