PNR extends rail service to Malabon City

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Philippine National Railways (PNR) has officially extended rail services to Malabon City with the opening of the Station on December 3, 2018.

With the new station, the PNR will provide four trips daily from Tutuban, Manila to Governor Pascual, Malabon, and vice versa. It will also serve eight trips daily from Governor Pascual to FTI Station, Taguig, and vice versa.

The train fare from Governor Pascual to FTI station is at PHP 25USD 0.43INR 36EUR 0.41CNY 3 for air-conditioned coaches and PHP 20USD 0.34INR 29EUR 0.32CNY 2 for non-air conditioned units. The route duration spans 58 minutes.

“Minadali po namin ito upang maramdaman ng mga taga-Malabon ‘yung matagal nang pinakaaasam-asam na transportasyon ng riles. Ito ho ang regalo ng ating Pangulo sa mga mamamayan ng Malabon,” Secretary Tugade said.
