Pokémon Sleep now supports some Garmin smartwatches

Listen to article

Pokémon Sleep now works with some of Garmin smartwatches, allowing users to track their sleep and earn in-game rewards using their existing devices.

The update comes from The Pokémon Company, which expanded the app’s compatibility to include several Garmin models. With this, users no longer need extra devices to play the game. They can link their Garmin account to the Pokémon Sleep app, and their sleep data will sync automatically each morning.

Pokémon Sleep is a mobile app that rewards users for sleeping longer and better. The app uses sleep data to attract different Pokémon in the game. Before this update, it mainly worked with the Pokémon GO Plus+ device and some Apple Watch and Android options.

The supported Garmin models include Venu 3 and 3S, Venu 2 series, Venu Sq 2, Forerunner 165, 255, 265, 955, and 965, Vívoactive 5, Epix Gen 2, Epix Pro Gen 2, and the Fenix 7 series.

To use the feature, users only need to connect their Garmin account inside the app. After setup, the smartwatch tracks sleep as usual, and the data is sent to the app without needing to keep the phone nearby.

The update makes it easier for Garmin users to join the game without buying new accessories. It also helps simplify sleep tracking and gameplay into one device.
