Razer unveils Project Valerie concept gaming laptop with triple monitors

You can always count on Razer to release cool concept products and for CES 2017 the company has unveiled a gaming laptop that sports three monitors – Project Valerie.

Razer calls Project Valerie the “world’s first concept design for portable multi-monitor immersive gaming.” For heavy gamers and multi-tasker, a multi-monitor setup is a must, however, this setup requires plenty of space, cables, and not really portable.

Project Valerie aims to solve that by housing three individual 17.3-inch 4K IGZO displays equipped with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. It also boasts 100% Adobe RGB color accuracy, and an automatic deployment mechanism that allows the displays to mechanically slide out of the side of the main screen and adjust into place.

Other features of Project Valerie include a unibody CNC aluminum chassis measuring 1.5-inches thick and weighs less than 12 pounds, compact AC adapter, Ultra-Low-Profile Mechanical switches, Razer Chroma keyboard, trackpad, and extended monitors, and powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU.

“Multi-monitor desktop set-ups are becoming more necessary for professionals, creators, and gamers,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “For the first time, we’ve engineered a solution that users can take with them. Project Valerie promises all of the functionality of three screens and none of the hassle.”
