The budget smartphone brand realme is gearing up to launch their latest flagship device, the 12 Pro+ 5G. Scheduled to debut on these coming January 29th at noon.
While full specifications are still under wraps, it’s evident from the page that this phone aims to push the boundaries of performance and photography. As the “+” model, we can expect the 12 Pro+ to take all the standard 12 Pro specs and enhance them even further.
Leaked specs reveal the 12 Pro+ may sport a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset. Memory could include up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The rumored camera specs are particularly notable, with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera and 64MP periscope camera alluded to in marketing. One graphic hints at “unparalleled clarity” from this 3x zoom lens. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging and Android 14-based Realme UI 5 are also speculated.
Pricing is also an intriguing mystery, listed as a placeholder ₹999,999. However, realme has built their brand on aggressive pricing matched with flagship-level hardware. It will be interesting to see if they can undercut the competition once again with this device.
