realme is set to kick off 2026 with a new audio launch in India. The brand has confirmed that the realme Buds Air 8 will officially debut on January 6, alongside the upcoming Realme 16 Pro smartphone series. Designed in collaboration with renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, the Buds Air 8 focus on a clean, modern look with comfort in mind.
realme is also branding the earbuds as an AI-powered sound master, using AI to improve calls, manage noise, and fine-tune audio automatically.
On the audio side, realme is packing serious hardware. The Buds Air 8 use 11mm + 6mm dual drivers for richer sound and support Hi-Res Audio Wireless with the LHDC codec. It also comes with Ultra Depth Active Noise Cancellation, claiming up to 55dB noise reduction.
Based on teasers, the earbuds will be available in Gold, Dark Grey, and Purple, with the Gold variant featuring a classy matte case and glossy interior. After launch, the realme Buds Air 8 will be available via realme.com, Flipkart, and Amazon India, with pricing to be revealed on launch day.
