realme has become the Top 6 smartphone vendor in global rankings, based on the latest market insights conducted by Counterpoint Research.
Leading the ranking is Samsung (52.5 million), followed by Xiaomi (52.5 million), Apple (48.9 million), OPPO (33.6 million), vivo (32.5 million), and realme (15 million).
However, the data shows that realme achieves the highest growth in shipments. The brand took the sixth spot globally with 15 million shipments and 135.1% YoY growth in Q2 2021.
Furthermore, realme has expanded to over 61 markets worldwide and ranking as a Top 5 brand in over 18 of these markets. According to multiple global research firms, the brand also took the top spot for Q1 and Q2 2021 in the Philippines.
The company’s next goal is to achieve a dual-100 million target by the end of 2022 and to complete the same milestone within the 2023 calendar year. Further, realme also targets to streamline its multiple product lines and optimize its technological offerings.
