Redfox Optima Duo 2 coming soon

The Redfox Optima Duo 2 is coming soon as the first sign of life from the Filipino brand since 2022. Redfox has been around since 1988 with their own factory in Cavite since 2010.

However, the brand has been quiet with their last Facebook post dating back to 2022. This article from Unbox managed to let us know that the brand is still active and has been developing different products since.

Redfox has kept busy with developing a gaming handheld, AR glasses, and an external GPU. However, what caught our attention was their goal plan to unveil a laptop rivaling the ASUS Zenbook Duo 2024.

The Redfox Optima Duo 2 is a dual-screen laptop with 16-inch display panels. Its difference from the Zenbook Duo lies in the bottom display, adjustable by a few degrees more in comparison. It’s presumed that this is meant to improve airflow and thermal management.

It’s slated to be powered by a 12th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and a ton of ports. These include a USB Type-C port, three USB Type-A ports, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and an audio jack.
