Xiaomi’s Redmi Pad Pro 49 is now available and priced in the Philippines. The tablet’s 8GB+128GB is priced at PHP 14,999USD 256INR 21,668EUR 243CNY 1,861, and the 8GB+256GB is priced at PHP 15,999USD 273INR 23,112EUR 260CNY 1,985.
The Redmi Pad Pro has a 12.1-inch display with a 2.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The tablet also has a pixel density of 249ppi, 600 nits (HBM), and Dolby Vision support.
For audio, the tablet has a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support that makes for an immersive multimedia experience.
Powering the Redmi Pad Pro is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. As mentioned, users will get 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
If users find this lacking, it also has a microSD card slot that can handle 1.5TB for storage expansion.
Optics include 8-megapixel shooters at the front and rear. The tablet packs a massive 10,000mAh battery with 33W of fast charging support. It runs on Xiaomi 417 HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box as well.
This also comes with accessories—the Redmi Pad Pro Cover, Redmi Smart Pen, and Redmi Smart Keyboard.
The Redmi Pad Pro Cover is pretty straightforward, it’s a case that doubles as a stand. It’s priced at PHP 1,199USD 20INR 1,732EUR 19CNY 149.
The Redmi Smart Pen has a 240Hz sampling rate and 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. It has an 80mAh battery that can last up to 12 hours of writing on a single charge.
This should make for a great tool for those who enjoy sketching and the like. It has an SRP of PHP 3,599USD 61INR 5,199EUR 58CNY 447.
Lastly, the Redmi Smart Keyboard offers keys with a 1.3mm travel distance. Users may also use this to hold the Redmi Smart Pen. The keyboard has an SRP of PHP 2,999USD 51INR 4,332EUR 49CNY 372.
The Redmi Pad Pro and its accessories are now available with special early bird promos up on Shopee from July 5 until July 11, 2024.
