Yesterday, Asus has released the ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate – the successors to the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.
The ROG Phone 7 comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and a 165Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device’s rear camera setup consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766, a 13MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro with a 32MP front camera. It has a battery capacity of 6,000mAh which is two 3,000mAh batteries inside the phone. It also supports 65W fast charging.
Like the previous ROG Phone 6, this device comes with the latest AeroActive Cooler 7. It can attach to the phone to cool off the phone should ever it heat up.

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has the same specs and camera setup as the ROG Phone 7. What makes the 7 Ultimate different is that it has a small screen on the rear side called the ROG Vision. It has display options like showcasing the ROG logo, game mode, and charging status, incoming calls.
The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate’s thermal cooling accessory is the AeroActive Portal instead of the AeroActive Cooler 7. The AeroActive Portal has an improved fan with more blades and activates automatically once attached to the phone.
Retail price for the ROG Phone 7 starts at £999 while the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate starts at £1,199. There is no official price for the Philippines, but we’ll update you on that soon.
