Twitter CEO Elon Musk has stated in a tweet that they will allow users to have content subscriptions soon.

Paid content will become a reality soon. Elon Musk tweeted out that users may apply to offer content subscriptions of any material. This can range from longform text to hours long videos.

“You will receive whatever money we receive, so that’s 70% for subscriptions on iOS & Android (they charge 30%) and ~92% on web (could be better, depending on payment processor).” said Musk.

Twitter will also promote the works of users who get accepted for this subscription feature. Musk has stated that should users want to opt out of this feature, they can leave the platform and take their content with them with ease.
