Twitter CEO Elon Musk has stated in a tweet that they will allow users to have content subscriptions soon. Elon Musk tweeted out that users may apply to offer content subscriptions of any material. "You will receive whatever money we receive, so that’s 70% for subscriptions on iOS & Android (they charge 30%) and ~92% on web (could be better, depending on payment processor)." said Musk. Twitter will also promote the works of users who get accepted for this subscription feature. Looks like Twitter will soon launch a monthly subscription service called 'Twitter Blue' which provides more features compared to the standard free Twitter. Spotted by Jane Machun Wong (@wongmjane), Twitter Blue offers new features such as the "Undo send" feature that was leaked in March 2021, the 'Reader Mode' which allows users to read long threads of texts easily, and the Collections feature that saves and organizes favorite tweets. Additionally, a subscription to Twitter Blue will allow its users to select different colored themes as well as custom app icons.
