Samsung and Cignal partner to bring content to Mobile and TV

Listen to article

Samsung Electronics Philippines and Cignal have announced a partnership to make Cignal’s content available on Samsung mobile devices and televisions, giving Filipino users easier access to local shows, movies, and live programs.

Under the deal, content from Cignal TV, Cignal Play, Pilipinas Live, and Cignal Super will be accessible through the Cignal app on Samsung devices. This includes movies, series, sports, documentaries, and live TV. The partnership aims to bring content and technology together in one ecosystem.

Subscribers of Cignal can also get bundled offers when they buy Samsung products. These bundles allow users to enjoy both services across devices, such as phones and TVs, with connected features. Samsung users may also see pre-installed content from Filipino creators, helping promote local talent.

The companies will also introduce joint packages for business clients and run marketing campaigns starting in 2026 to reach more users in the Philippines.

“We are proud to make Filipino programs and movies accessible to more Filipinos,” said Roman Han of Samsung Electronics Philippines.

Meanwhile, Victorico Vargas, President and CEO of MediaQuest Holdings, Inc., said the move will help expand their audience across more platforms.

Both companies said the partnership supports wider digital access and may open doors for similar collaborations in the future.
