Samsung Galaxy A06 will be powered by a MediaTek Chip, Initial Specs and Details Leaked

Samsung’s entry-level Galaxy A06 has surfaces some initial specs. The Samsung Galaxy A06 initial details appeared on Geekbench benchmark database listing, giving us a glimpse of some key specifications of the upcoming handset.

First is the listing shows the Samsung Galaxy A06 with model number SM-A065F has a initial scoring of 1,644 in single-core and 5,326 in multi-core rounds on the Geekbench 4.2 test.

It also indicates the device might feature 6GB of RAM and will be runnin on Android 14.

Moreover, under the hood, the Galaxy A06 will likely be powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor, most likely indicating the MT6769V/CZ, It has a peak frequency of 1.80GHz and paired with Mali G52 GPU, to which suggesting it might be the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC but will still have to wait for the full specifications soon.

Additionally, the Galaxy A06 has also been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification with the model numbers SM-A065F/DS, SM-A065M/DS, and SM-A065M. These certification suggest that the handset will support dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) connectivity.

As a successor to last year’s popular Samsung Galaxy A05, which featured a large 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor with a 6GB of RAM. We can expect it might get a few upgrades but the question will it still be the same pricing or it will be more expensive compared from the previous generation Galaxy A05.
