    Hello everyone

I’m using a galaxy note 9 (Globe locked) and the phone is still on the January security patch. Aren’t these supposed to be updated on a monthly basis?

Anyone else who’s having this issue?

    Thanks

Please share your thoughts about my problem. I’ve been using the heart rate sensor to take selfies on my galaxy note 5 then I upgraded to Galaxy Note 9 and did a software update. I noticed that I cannot use the heart rate sensor to take selfies on my Galaxy Note 9. I called up Samsung hotline and the rep told me that the Android Pie deleted this feature. Any thoughts? Or can someone confirm this?

Hmmm, I had an S9 that wouldn’t update either, and it didn’t receive the Jan 2019 security update. It was able to synch with the update server and said it was up to date. I did pay a reduced price for it at Greenhills hehe so sort of expected, they often refurbish and then don’t have a valid synch process. You could try and use SmartSwitch with it or take it to Samsung, but most likely you’re stuck with current levels of software
