Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to Support 60W Charging

Listen to article

Samsung is expected to bring faster charging to its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, with support for up to 60W wired charging. This is an upgrade from the 45W charging found on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Leaked test results show that the Galaxy S26 Ultra was able to charge from 0% to 75% in about 30 minutes under Samsung’s controlled lab conditions. These numbers were shared by Ice Universe on X, noting that actual charging times may vary depending on usage, temperature, and cable quality.

Alongside this, Samsung has also recently launched its official 60W charger, which is expected to pair with the Galaxy S26 Ultra to deliver the new charging speeds. This marks the first time Samsung is offering a charger at this wattage, aligning with the upgrade coming to its flagship device.

Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy S26 Ultra in Q1 2026, and with the addition of 60W charging support alongside its newly launched 60W charger, users can look forward to one of the device’s key upgrades.

Typically, Samsung launch its S series smartphones in January, but this year the launch is expected to take place in late February to early March. You can read more about the delay in our previous coverage here.
