The South Korean company is making sure that the consumer’s safety is of top importance so Samsung PH is urging current Note7 users to power off their devices and contact their place of purchase to have their phones exchanged for a different flagship handset. This is in light of the explosions and the phone catching fire from different regions.

With their replacement program, existing users of the Note 7 may choose to exchange it for a Galaxy S7 edge or Galaxy S7 or request for a full refund. When exchanged for a different smartphone, the place of purchase will reimburse any difference between the SRP.
However, for those purchased through Globe and Smart, you may contact them through their hotlines or give the nearest store near you a visit.
On that note, Samsung is halting the sales and production of the Galaxy Note7.
