Shopee Mall 3X money-back guarantee now official

Shopee Mall updated their money-back guarantee policy 13, promising customers receiving a counterfeit item three times the amount of their purchase price.

This is a step taken by e-commerce platform Shopee to reinforce consumer confidence and convenience. A recent study by the company which included 3,000 participants revealed that product and platform legitimacy are a lead concern.

With the rise of scams and cybercrime, Filipino shoppers have a clear preference for authenticity and quality in online purchases.

Shopee is rolling out this policy update to reaffirm their dedication in providing a secure and seamless online shopping experience.

Guaranteed Delivery is another feature that Shopee Mall excels in, as they promise no order cancellations. If orders do get canceled, compensation vouchers are issued to shoppers.

In that regard, the new On-Time Delivery service compensates customers with vouchers if delivery exceeds the estimated timeframe.

Additionally, the return and refund windows for purchases have been extended. Previously set at a week or seven days, customers now have 15 days after receiving an item to initiate the return. Likewise, the item should comply with Shopee Mall’s Return Terms and Conditions to ensure a full refund.

Since July of 2023, there has been a boom in seller interests. Shopee Mall since then has received over a thousand applications.

To provide a consistent, secure shopping environment, the platform works closely with sellers to moderate compliance and brand quality standards. Shopee Mall’s work consists of validating trademark registrations or authorization for distributors.

The platform also develops assessments for existing brands and sellers to monitor their adherence to Shopee’s quality criteria. As of now, more than 3,000 sellers are in the process of integration for wider options of authentic offerings.

Lastly, Shopee has also introduced the Brand Intellectual Property (IP) Portal to protect sellers and IP owners. This enables brand validation and submission of IP infringement claims for investigation.
