SKY partnering with Converge for internet services

SKY Cable Corporation has partnered with Converge ICT Solutions Inc. to provide faster internet services for their subscribers. This was even announced through a Facebook post on how SKY partnering with Converge.

With Converge’s pure fiber network, SKY is slated to upgrade their network and improve internet-related operations. Converge has a large fiber network in the Philippines with over eight million ports and a 700,000-kilometer fiber footprint.

As of March 2024, Converge served 2.3 million residential broadband subscribers across the country and reached 16 million homes nationwide. But aside from the network upgrade, the partnership is aiming at increased efficiency, financial discipline, and organizational improvements.
