Smart has recently launched its Prepaid eSIM through their official online store. The new listings include eSIM only priced at PHP 99 or an eSIM bundled with a load card of either PHP 300 or PHP 500.
With a few smartphone models having eSIM (or embedded SIM) support, this comes just in time for eSIMs to flourish in our local smartphone market.
The new Smart Prepaid eSIM is an embedded SIM for eSIM-capable mobile devices with up to 21 GB of free data, as well as free calls and texts to all networks. Simply scan your delivered eSIM QR and register at smart.com.ph/simreg to activate your Prepaid eSIM.
According to the website, the prepaid eSIM also offers a freebie of up to 21 GB of data plus free calls and texts to all networks for 7 days. Payment can be done through Mastercard, Visa, online banking, or cash deposit. Delivery takes 1-2 business days in Metro Manila, 2-3 business days in Luzon, and 5-7 business days in Visayas and Mindanao. Shipping is free nationwide.
This new development is expected to provide more options for Smart’s prepaid customers, especially for those who are using eSIM-capable devices.
