Smart launches Signature Plans+ with Unli 5G data

Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has just launched the new Signature Plans+, the first postpaid lineup in the Philippines that features Unli 5G access for subscribers.

Signature Plans+ come in four SIM-Only plans. For Plan XL+ at PHP 2,499 per month, subscribers can get unlimited 5G and 4G data throughout their contract. However, for other plans, subscribers get Unlimited 5G data for six months plus data allocations — Plan S+ (PHP 999/month) with 20GB, Plan M+ (PHP 1,499/month) with 40GB, and Plan L+ (PHP 1,999/month) with 60GB.

All plans include unlimited calls and texts to all networks, unlimited calls to all landline numbers, and a 12-month Netflix Mobile Plan subscription.

Smart also revealed to soon provide options to pair the new plan offers with 5G devices through its partnerships with various smartphone brands, including Apple, Huawei, OPPO, realme, Samsung, vivo, and Xiaomi, among others.

Smart Signature subscribers may also manage their subscription via the GigaLife App, where they can check their account details, monitor their subscription, as well as earn and accumulate GigaPoints for exclusive rewards and perks.

To date, Smart has fired up over 4,000 5G sites in more than 3,000 strategic locations nationwide.

Smart’s postpaid plans are a scam. XL+ giving me a subpar bandwidth and speed and I’m connected to 5G. And the sim-only plan for XL+ plus has a lock-ibcommitment of 12-months. Sucks big time, right?
