Sony finally confirms the launch date of its next flagship earbuds, the WF-1000XM6. After months of rumors and speculations, the company teased the “next generation” earbuds in a short video, giving us a quick peek at a new, more compact design.
The reveal will take place on February 12, 2026, at 8:00 AM PST as Sony plans to announce its complete specs and features on that date. The earbuds display a flatter design that resembles pill shapes, better than the XM5 model, leading to better fitting capabilities. The charging case shows a slimmer design which features more defined edges.
The leaks indicate that the product will have a matte finish, improved noise cancellation capabilities, and added color choices. Sony faces intense competition, which creates high expectations for its upcoming business decision.
