Starlink Residential price increase in the Philippines

There is a price increase for Starlink Residential subscribers in the Philippines. It is now priced at PHP 3,800, going up from PHP 2,700 per month.

Starlink Residential

Current customers should be receiving an email 41 that notifies them of the change that was made effective on May 16, 2025. Further, current customers will receive service credit equal to the difference in the price that’ll be applied to the next invoice.

However, the updated pricing will be applied for new customers immediately. At the very least, users who do not want to continue using Starlink can get a full refund of hardware and service.

The caveat is that the hardware refund only works within thirty (30) days of purchase. If the hardware has been purchased within the last year though, users can opt for a fifty percent (50%) refund.

Communication graduate, closet cynic, and kid at heart. Duane is a rare person to find, quite literally. He often takes to himself but has proven his mettle in tech media with his quick wits. Well, the portfolio of scriptwriting, web content, and public relations help too, we suppose. As a homebody, he often spends his time on the streaming platform Twitch or ‘farming’ gaming clips with friends. He is also an avid fan of round glasses and anything relative to blueberries.

Does this credit continue? Or is it a one time credit and current customers (over a year) continue to pay 2.7k after the initial 3.8?

  3. No reason given for the increase despite it being a 40% monthly markup. That’s almost a half price hike.

  4. 40% increase is a disgrace – where is customer protection?
