Sun Cellular has announced that it will now roll out its 4G LTE network to subscribers in both postpaid and prepaid segments.
This comes with announcements on their social media accounts of the said new connectivity upgrade which has been stuck with 3G since its inception back in 2007. The PLDT-led company has also revamped most of its broadband, postpaid and prepaid offers to reflect LTE connectivity, with Easy LTE Plan 999 and LTE Plan 999 for Broadband now offering 4GB of monthly data allocation. For prepaid subscribers, Sun has launched the BigData70 promo wiith 1 GB data, unlimited all-network SMS and 30 mins of calls to Sun, valid for 7 days for Php70USD 1INR 101EUR 1CNY 9 (BDATA70 to 247).
To enjoy the new LTE connectivity, one must proceed to a nearby Sun Shop to have his/her SIM card replaced by a new one with the same number at no cost. You may also identify if your area is now LTE-ready, you may check here for an updated list of locations.
