RayNeo, TCL’s extended reality (XR) brand, just unveiled the RayNeo Air 4, the world’s first HDR10-ready AR glasses tuned by Bang & Olufsen (B&O). The fourth-generation model was announced during the company’s autumn product event on October 23, marking a major leap for wearable displays.

At the core of the Air 4 is the Vision 4000 chip, co-developed with Pixelworks, known for its display processing tech. This chip enables AI HDR, AI 3D video, and HDR10 support, a first for AR glasses. The device uses a 5.5-gen micro-OLED panel with up to 1,200 nits brightness, 1.07 billion colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and covers 145% sRGB / 98% DCI-P3 color gamut. The virtual display scales up to an impressive 135 inches.
RayNeo also teamed up with B&O for the audio system, featuring a four-speaker setup powered by independent DAC drivers and large polymer diaphragms. This design delivers cleaner and deeper sound, while a sound guide fin reduces audio leakage by up to 80%.
The AI 3D engine lets users convert standard 2D videos into 3D instantly, with automatic SDR-to-HDR upscaling for better picture quality.
The RayNeo Air 4 starts at 1,599 yuan ( PHP 13,145 ), while the Air 4 Pro costs 1,699 yuan ( PHP 13,967 ) in China.
