A few days ago, realme announced that the 14 Pro 5G models were to be released at the end of this month. We wondered where the base realme 14 5G lineup was, exactly, and got our answer on X a bit later.
Based on what’s been confirmed, the base realme 14 5G will feature the “Mecha Design” philosophy that’s built to resemble robots and other pop culture icons. That explains the silver frame, glyph-like prints on the rear, as well as the orange buttons which do give it quite a bit of pop.
Not much is known about the realme 14 5G just yet, but the post on X confirms some things:
Firstly, the smartphone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, which is considered to be a top choice in the budget segment at the moment. It’s been advertised to have an 11% quicker CPU and 29% more powerful GPU over its predecessor. Pair that with a humongous 6000 mAh battery and we can expect all-day battery life from this behemoth.

Lastly, the image shows that it’ll come in three colors at launch – Space Silver, Nebula Pink, and Comet Grey, if the realme 14 and P3 share the same colors (as in the image).
Other potential specs (unconfirmed) include a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 50 and 2-megapixel duo as the dual-camera arrangement. An optical in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and IP68/69 certification also seem to be in the cards for this device.
The post mentions that the realme 14 5G will be launched on March 27, from 3-5PM (UTC+7 time). Interested parties can view the livestreams over at realme’s official social media platforms.
