vivo launches V40 Lite 4G and 5G in Indonesia

After having released the V40e, vivo has expanded its V40 series with the launch of the V40 Lite 4G and V40 Lite 5G in Indonesia. The two devices share similar designs and hardware, with the main difference being the chipsets powering each variant.

The V40 Lite sports a sleek and modern design, available in three colors: Titanium Silver, Carbon Black, and Pearl Violet. Each color variant targets different style preferences, from the futuristic Titanium Silver to the classic Carbon Black and bold Pearl Violet. The phone is just 7.79mm thick, featuring an ergonomic 2.5D Metallic Frame for durability and a premium feel.

The V40 Lite comes equipped with AI-powered features to enhance photography. The AI Aura Light Portrait improves lighting in low-light conditions, while the AI Erase allows users to remove unwanted elements from photos. The AI Photo Enhance feature sharpens and improves image quality.

For photography enthusiasts, both the 4G and 5G versions feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera, with additional wide-angle and depth sensors. The front camera is a 32MP shooter designed for selfies.

The V40 Lite supports 80W FlashCharge technology, allowing it to charge up to 45% in just 15 minutes. It also includes a large 5000mAh battery for all-day usage. The 5G version is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, while the 4G version uses the Snapdragon 685, ensuring smooth performance and battery efficiency.

The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a sharp and fluid visual experience, whether watching videos or playing games. Additionally, the device is IP64 certified, making it resistant to rain and light impacts.

The V40 Lite 4G model is priced at IDR 3,299,000 (P12,200) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM version is IDR 3,599,000 (P13,312). The V40 Lite 5G model starts at IDR 4,299,000 (P15,900) for the 8GB RAM version, with a 12GB RAM variant available for IDR 5,299,000 (P19,600). Both versions will be available for pre-order starting October 17, 2024.
