The vivo Y29 is now official as a successor to the vivo Y28 launched earlier this year.

It has a 6.68-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and HD+ resolution. The device runs on Funtouch OS 14 and is powered by a Dimensity 6300 chipset.
It comes with up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and microSD card support by up to 1TB. For optics, it has a 50-megapixel main paired with an auxiliary sensor. At the front, it’s equipped with an 8-megapixel shooter.
Similar to its predecessor, it has a ring light at the back for flashes and alerts. It also packs a 5,500mAh battery with 44W of charging support via USB Type-C.
Other features include an IP64 rating, dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 5G connectivity.
The vivo Y29 is available in Black, Blue, and Gold color options. It’s already on sale in India with four storage configurations starting at INR 13,999 (~PHP 9.6K) with 4GB/128GB.
