vivo is set to launch its first square smartwatch—the Watch GT—in the Philippines on July 18, 2025, marking a significant design shift for the brand. Departing from the circular form of the previous Watch 3, the GT offers a larger 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, Always-On Display, and sleek 2.5D curved glass.
Housed in a lightweight matte aluminum frame with a stainless steel rotating crown, the Watch GT blends premium looks with utility. It comes in Summer Black (rubber strap) and Cloud White (leather band), both of which are easily swappable.
The smartwatch supports over 100 fitness modes and features comprehensive health tracking, including heart rate, SpO₂, sleep, stress, and menstrual cycle monitoring. Built-in Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and eSIM capabilities allow for independent calls, contactless payments, and real-time navigation—no smartphone needed.
Running on vivo’s BlueOS, the Watch GT introduces AI-powered features like voice notes, smart transport alerts, and customizable watch faces. Battery life is a standout, offering up to 21 days in basic mode and around 9 days with eSIM enabled.
vivo has yet to confirm local pricing, but with a China launch price between CNY 799–899 (~PHP 6,500–8,000), it’s expected to be competitively positioned in the Philippine market.
