Xiaomi 13 Ultra to launch globally this month

Leica Camera has just confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be launching this month.

In a tweet posted on Leica Camera’s official Twitter page, it said that the camera company is continuing its collaboration with Xiaomi to bring consumers an “optical system solution for mobile imaging that has never been seen before.”

The tweet says that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will bring a “perfect lens” with a large aperture, a compact size, and a high imaging performance over the entire focal length range. It also confirmed that the phone, along with the Leica-powered camera system, will be unveiled this month.

It can be recalled that the Xiaomi-Leica partnership started in 2022, with the collaboration bearing fruit in Xiaomi’s 12S Ultra.

The Xiaomi 12S Ultra packed Leica cameras with a 50.3MP 1-inch sensor. No other specs regarding the 13 Ultra were released but we’ll keep you updated when more news of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship arrives.
