The upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro have surfaced in new certification leaks, shedding light on their charging capabilities and other key features.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, as per details from leaker Digital Chat Station, will retain the 90W fast charging seen in its predecessor.
While this isn’t an upgrade, it aligns with Xiaomi’s consistent charging performance.
However, the device is rumored to stick to a 5,000mAh+ battery, falling behind the growing trend of 6,000mAh+ capacities in premium devices.
On a brighter note, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to feature dual-satellite connectivity, supporting both Tiantong satellite calls and Beidou SMS messaging.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, meanwhile, edges ahead with 100W charging support. OnePlus executive Li Jie Louis recently hinted at its imminent release alongside the Ace 5 series.
The Ace 5 Pro is confirmed to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the standard Ace 5 will house the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Both models are said to include 6,000mAh-rated batteries, with the base variant supporting 80W charging.
Leaked specs also indicate shared features between the two OnePlus models, including flat 1.5K BOE X2 displays, a metal middle frame, and a ceramic body.
Notably, the Ace 5 Pro is positioned as the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphone expected in the market soon.
Both Xiaomi and OnePlus seem to be gearing up for competitive launches, each offering their spin on premium hardware for their respective markets.
