The Xiaomi AI Glasses have been launched, marking the brand’s entry into the AI eyewear market.

Weighing just 40 grams, these lightweight specs come packed with features like a 12-megapixel first-person camera and Xiaomi’s “Super Xiao Ai” assistant. Users can snap pics, record 2K video, livestream, or make voice-activated calls. These are all hands-free and comes with a blinking orange light lets others know when the camera’s rolling.
The glasses sport a familiar design with three frame styles and two lens options. This includes a standard version and either single-colored or multi-colored electrochromic variant. The latter models let users change tint with a two-finger swipe. They sport an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance as well.
Under the hood, they’re powered by a Snapdragon AR1 chip and a 263mAh silicon-carbon battery that gives you up to 8.6 hours of use (or 45 minutes of continuous video). You also get a five-mic array for voice commands and clear audio capture.
Fit-wise, Xiaomi’s tailored the design based on 70,000 Asian head scans for better comfort. The build uses nylon and aviation-grade titanium alloy for a sturdy but lightweight feel.
AI integration goes beyond just photos. You can control smart home devices, scan QR codes, translate up to 10 languages in real time, and even recognize objects all via voice. Some features, like secure payments, are set to roll out via OTA update in September.
The Xiaomi AI Glasses are priced at CNY 1,999 (~PHP 16K). They’re also available in its Single-Color Electrochromic Edition for CNY 2,699 (~PHP 21K) and Multi-Color Electrochromic Edition for CNY 2,999 (~PHP 24K).
