Xiaomi has unveiled a new smart product powered by an Intel chip. It’s not a smartphone, though, but a pair of running shoes called the “90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear”.
The 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear was developed by Xiaomi’s ecosystem partner Shanghai Runmi Technology Co. Ltd. It looks like your typical running shoes, but inside is a button-sized Intel Curie Module which is designed for wearable devices.
Thanks to the said chip, the shoes can monitor your movement, track distance covered, speed, as well as calories burned. Battery life is impressive as well as it can last for up to 60 days before it needs to be charged.
The 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear is priced at 299 Yuan (~Php2,180.75).
