Xiaomi is prepping for a new launch event on April 10th, with the Redmi Pad Pro taking the stage alongside the upcoming Redmi Turbo 3 121.
The company offered a first glimpse at the tablet through an official poster 16 on Weibo, revealing some key specs and its design. Based on the image, the confirmed specs so far include a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel, a 10,000mAh battery, and of course, HyperOS.
The image render itself reveals a sleek tablet wearing a protective case with a dedicated holder for a stylus along with a keyboard accessory. The rear panel design shows two camera rings and will be available in three color options.
While other details are scarce, we can already see the major improvements of the Redmi Pad Pro over its base model 20, released in 2022. The older model had a 10.61-inch 2K display, MediaTek Helio G99, and 8000mAh battery paired with 18W charging.
The brand also released an SE variant 16 last year in 2023 which featured an 11-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, Snapdragon 680 chipset, and 8000mAh battery as well with a lower 10W charging rate.
As for the Pro variant, we can only presume that it’s packing better feature set albeit at a much pricier cost. We should learn more about the tablet as it debuts in China on April 10th at 7:00 PM local time. Stay tuned!
