Tagging along with the global release of Xiaomi 13T Series and Watch 2 Pro 20 is the brand’s newest affordable fitness tracker 42—the Xiaomi Smart Band 8.
It sports a 1.62-inch AMOLED pill-shaped display, delivering vibrant visuals with Always-on Display (AoD) and over 200 watch faces to choose from.
Its display resolution is 490 x 192 pixels, and it reaches peak brightness of 600 nits.
It offers users the same health and fitness tracking as the Band 7, but with some clever additions. It introduces interactive fitness courses that utilize the Band 8’s accelerometer to track movements in real-time.
In addition, Xiaomi is also putting emphasis on style with the Band 8. It provides multiple strap options: including leather, nylon fabric, and metal in various styles.
Xiaomi touts its long-lasting battery life, claiming it can last 16 days with typical use and 6 days with AoD enabled. Charging is convenient with the proprietary two-pin charger, offering a full charge in just an hour.
Xiaomi’s Smart Band 8 is currently listed on its Europe official website, priced at EUR 40PHP 2,464USD 42INR 3,560CNY 306. That’s about PHP 2USD 0.03INR 3EUR 0.03CNY 0.25.4K (direct) in today’s exchange.
