Xiaomi Trademarks the POCO F2

Just when we thought the Redmi K series was the new Pocophone, @_the_tech_guy on Twitter discovered Xiaomi’s trademark applications for the Poco F2.

The application was filed back on December 4, 2019, with application number 42820005 under Trademark Classification 9, which covers smartphones. While there are no specifications listed on the trademark application, it does confirm that Xiaomi is indeed working on a successor of their Pocophone series. Judging by Xiaomi’s past, we can expect the Poco F2’s announcement soon.

Seeing how they marketed the original Pocophone as a flagship killer equipped with a top of the line chipset, good build quality, and decent cameras, at a very competitive price, we’re excited to see what Xiaomi has in store for us as they unveil the Poco F2.

Wish the Poco F2 will bring the price down as possible!!! Compared to the Poco F1 price over 15k pesos the Poco F2 should be about 13k pesos none the least? I see much great potential compared to the k series *which are knock in the pot*
