Acer has announced more products beyond its Global Press Conference ‘Next@Acer’ including a 2-in-1 Chromebook Spin 714 powered by 13th-gen Intel Core i7, on Intel Evo platform, and with military-grade rating for enhanced durability.

It’s 14-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS display has a 16:10 aspect ratio covered with an antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass. Narrow-bezels and 100% sRGB colors.

With its 2-in-1 form factor, it brings 360-degree convertible modes.

Its webcam upfront has a QHD 2K resolution with physical shutter and dual microphone array.

The unit is MIL-STD-810H certified and can withstand fall damage from about 122 centimeters.

Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, a backlit keyboard, a built-in HDMI port, a USB Type-A port, and dual USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt4 technology.

In terms of battery, Acer says the laptop supports rapid charging that provides four-hour battery life in under 30 minutes charging.

Additionally, it has an upper model with the Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 714 that ships with Chrome Enterprise Upgrade and runs on Intel vPro platform.

Acer has yet to provide the pricing and availability details of the Chromebook Spin 714 and the Enterprise edition.
