Acer Iconia Tab A701 lands, priced at Php29,900

Acer’s latest Android tablet has landed in stores, though unofficially, and selling for under Php30k. The Iconia Tab A701 comes with HSPA+ & WiFi connectivity running on a Tegra 3 chip and a full HD 1080p display.

We first saw the Iconia Tab A700 back in June during Computex 2012 (see first impressions here). The one that we saw in the store today is the 3G model.

we should take note that this tablet comes with 3G/HSPA+. Every tablet that have this feature/specification will always have a hefty price tag.

the trouble with buying this is you can’t find a decent case to protect it….even the cheapest jelly case, i will only buy this to replace my 10.1 tab if it is priced around 18-20K

at ~ 30k, this item should prove to have
    a very long shelf life.

that is, it could spend its lifetime in
    the stock shelves.
