AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Desktop Processors now official

AMD has recently launched its newest desktop processors, the Ryzen 5000 Series.

Compared to its predecessors, the AMD Ryzen 5000 Series of desktop processors are built on the latest Zen 3 architecture that increases IPC by 19 and doubles the direct accessibility to 32MB L3 cache per core.

AMD’s 500 series motherboards are compatible with AMD Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors with a simple BIOS update. This also includes over 100 AMD 500 series of motherboards from all major motherboard manufacturers.

The AMD 5000 series of desktop processors will be available on November 5, 2020. Prices are as follows:
• AMD Ryzen 9 5950X – USD 799
• AMD Ryzen 9 5900X – USD 549
• AMD Ryzen 7 5800X – USD 449
• AMD Ryzen 5 5600X – USD 299

Additionally, AMD is launching its Equipped to Win Game Bundle. Gamers who purchase the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, Ryzen 9 5900X, or Ryzen 7 5800X between November 5 to December 31, 2020, can claim a free copy of the upcoming Far Cry 6 Standard Edition, which will launch on February 18, 2021. Those who will also purchase the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, Ryzen 9 3900XT, or Ryzen 7 3800XT processors between October 20 to December 31 are also entitled to the free game.
