Apple updates Mac Pro with better specs, same SRP

Apple has quietly given their Mac Pro a performance boost by updating its specs while retaining its SRP.

The updated Mac Pro still come in two variants:

Apple Mac Pro 6-Core and Dual GPU:
3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor
16GB 1866MHz DDR3 ECC memory
Dual AMD FirePro D500 with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM each
256GB PCIe-based flash storage
Starting price: Php155,990

Apple Mac Pro 8-Core and Dual GPU:
3.0GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor
16GB 1866MHz DDR3 ECC memory
Dual AMD FirePro D700 with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM each
256GB PCIe-based flash storage
Starting price: Php205,990

The 8-core model is unavailable as of writing. The 6-core model, on the other hand, is now available and can be upgraded if you’re prepared to shell out more cash. Check out Apple PH’s listing below:

so overpriced!!!
given that SRP, i can build two or three desktop units with specs that will shame this POS!

yep, and i think it is not meant for regular consumers, more on enterprise market
