ASUS ROG NUC, a mini gaming PC with RTX 4000 graphics priced

The ASUS ROG NUC is a mini gaming PC with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.

This small desktop computer features a 2.5 liter chassis and supports up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor.

It’s set to be one of the most expensive, powerful, and versatile mini PCs to date. This is largely due to Intel’s latest mobile processors, graphics, and support for up to 32GB of DDR5 memory.

Additionally, the device supports three M.2 2280 slots for up to three PCIe Gen 4×4 SSDs.

The computer supports up to four displays courtesy of an ample set of ports inclusive of a Thunderbolt 4 port, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and an HDMI port.

There’s also a 2.5GbE LAN port, six USB Type-A ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and SD card reader.

You can find gaming laptops with similar processors, graphics, a keyboard, and batteries and displays for similar prices.

However, models supporting three SSDs and a ton of ports is rare, which is a good selling point for the ROG NUC. Just keep in mind, since this is a mobile CPU and GPU, neither are upgradable for end users.

First unveiled during CES 2024 in January, ASUS didn’t provide information about its pricing or availability.

But now, the ASUS ROG NUC is slated to be priced starting at USD 1,629 (PHP 91,704.44) for a model with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor paired with an NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics card.

A variant with higher specs coming with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor paired with an RTX 4070 graphics card will be sold for USD 2,199 (PHP 123,792.55).

Plans haven’t been finalized for when shipping for the ROG NUC will begin, but this report notes that it should be around April to May at the earliest.
