ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE, ROG Flow X16 launched in the Philippines

ASUS ROG has launched two new gaming laptops in the Philippines, the ROG Strix Scar 17 SE powered by an Intel 12th-gen Core i9 processor, and the ROG Flow X16 powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 900HS processor. Check out the specs and prices below.

The new and upgraded ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition (SE) is the most powerful ROG laptop in the lineup for 2022. It sports a 17-inch WQHD display with Dolby Vision, Adaptive Sync, and a 240Hz refresh rate. It also has a cyberpunk-styled aesthetic with RGB lighting and customizable armor caps.

Powering it is an Intel Core i9-12950HX 65W processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 175W max TGP with Dynamic Boost, MUX switch, new ROG intelligent cooling system, and Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut Extreme.

The units come with a free ROG Backpack, ROG Chakram Core Gaming Mouse, Type-C PD Adapter, and MS Office.

Next, is the ROG Flow X16 equipped with a 16-inch QHD Mini LED HDR touch screen display with 165Hz refresh rate, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and up to 1100 nits of peak brightness. It also boasts a 360-degree hinge so you can convert it into tablet mode.

Powering it is an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU with MUX Switch, and like other Flow models, supports the XG Mobile external GPUs up to the latest AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT.
