Riding on the popularity of the Asus X202 from earlier this year, Asus introduced a more affordable version of their 11-inch ultraportable Vivobook series — the X200CA.
While its older sibling, the X202, is clad in a metal body, the X200CA is made of polycarbonate and introduced several colors on the lid — red, white, black and blue.
Asus Vivobok X200CA specs:
11.6-inch LED display @ 1366×768 pixels
Intel Celeron ULV 1007u 1.5GHz
Intel HD Graphics
4GB DDR3 RAM
500GB HDD
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
LAN port
2 x USB 2.0 ports
1 x USB 3.0 port
1 x HDMI port
SD card reader
Li-Ion 3300mAh battery
MS Windows 8
Everything else is the same, including the touchscreen display for Windows 8 compatibility. Suggested retail price starts at Php21,000 and there are options to get the Pentium or the Core i3 models at a slightly higher price.
HDD? Goodbye.
What do you want? An expensive SSD on a budget-oriented laptop like this? Goodluck keeping the price low with that.
ok lang sana kung IPS ang screen niya.walang IPS sa spec list niya eh. which means TN TFT LCD parin ang screen niya . pangit
With this pricing of a low-end notebook, I am worried for the $359 Asus Transformer T100. It might be priced higher than the expected price. If the T100 sells for 16k, this notebook will be an outcast.
expect the T100 to be priced around 25,000-30000 pesos. kasi kung below 21000 ang price niya di bebenta itong vivobook x200 nila :( . mapagsamantala talaga itong si asus PH.
another ultraoverpriced device form Asus Philippines. Asus launched this device(Celeron version) for only 329$ in US. na kung saan Php 14,000 lang kung icoconvert to philippine peso. then alam natin na may 12% VAT which is only around 1,000 kung i calculate natin. wow ha 6,000 pesos na tubo. grabe kung magpayaman itong si Asus PH. kung makapag overprice, WAGAS. !!!

Dell’s Inspiron 11 3000 seems better to me.
Hi Abe, any info on the prices for the Pentium and Core i3 models?
