Core i5 Presents: The Chase Film

Core i5 Presents: The Chase Film

Intel has announced 29 new processors in the Intel Core i series and to help promote the mid-level Core i5 CPU, they’ve produced this short but pretty nifty little video animation film. Check out it after the jump.

I’ve seen this sequence before but it was a Flash animation and was only using stick figures. This one changes from real actors/actresses to animated characters, cartoons and even stick figures too. Pretty neat, huh?

Won’t AMD make its move to counter intel’s new plan of i5 CPU? The test runs smoothly though.

@Ritchet: That is a joke site. Part of the list contained the following:

    * These new CPUs have the potential to be self-aware, leading to catastrophe.

    * These new CPUs use less power, but the saved power may be sent to rogue terrorist nations.

    * These new CPUs are excessively heavy (~2kg or ~4.5lbs) and may damage your mobo.

i was expecting at the end of the movie that all of the application that was used will still be opened showing the processor’s multitasking capability ^_^
