Fujitsu Lifebook P3010 with AMD Neo

Listen to article

Fujitsu’s own 11-inch ultraportable LifeBook is now out and selling with the P3010 (running an AMD Athlon Neo) retailing for Php36,995.

AMD Athlon Neo 1.6GHz
ATI HD Radeon 3200HD
2GB DDR2 RAM
320GB SATA HDD
WiFi 802.11 b/g
Bluetooth
1.3MP webcam
3 USB 2.0 ports
Windows 7 Home Basic

The 6-cell Li-ion (5200mAh) battery only lasts about 3.75 hours and the unit is a bit heavy at 1.6kg. Listed price is Php36,995 (at Asianic). The CPU is not an X2 so it’s just single-core.

The other model, the Lifebook P3110, is powered by an Intel Pentium SU4100 1.3GHz and GMA 4500MHD isn’t listed yet but the same battery can go up to 6 and and half hours. Didn’t realize Intel’s CULV can save up that much juice.

I wish that more homeowners would become more aware of the serious dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Every year more than twenty people are needlessly killed by this odourless, colourless
gas escaping from faulty central heating boilers together with hundreds more who suffer serious health problems caused by it.

It needs to be a dual core Neo before it is worth buying, however, the cost of a fujitsu computer is reflected in its quality over other manufacturers. Buy it when it is an anthlon neo x2.

Boo. Too expensive, not dual core. The MSI Wind U230 has better specs and a lower price too.
