Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s gets slimmer

When I saw another iteration of Lenovo’s IdeaPad S10 netbook, I couldn’t figure out the differences. Moreso that the specs are practically the same, except for the bump in clock speed, which they did for the entire line anyway. Yet, this IdeaPad S10-3s claims it’s thinner than the rest.

I think it’s more of a design refresh than anything else.

Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s specs:
10.1″ display screen @ 1024×600 pixels
Intel Atom N470 @ 1.87GHz
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
WiFi 802.11 b/g
6-cell Li-Ion battery
Multi-touch trackpad
Windows 7 Starter

This model looks little curvy on the edges compared the the squared look of the S10-3. The chiclet-type keys were also retained. I think I like the look of the old S10-3 better:

The store price is Php24,900, a bit higher than its sibling. Previous announcements indicate you can have this at a higher screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
