MINISFORUM has officially opened pre-orders for the A1 X1 Pro, a high-performance mini PC featuring the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 “Strix Point” processor, up to 96GB of RAM, and PCIe 4.0 storage.

First unveiled in January 2025, the A1 X1 Pro starts at $899 (~PHP 51,400) for a 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD configuration, with shipping expected by end of March.

MINISFORUM A1 X1 vs. A1 X1 Pro: What’s the Difference?

For those looking for a cheaper option, there’s also the MINISFORUM A1 X1, which starts at $439 (~PHP 25,200) but ships in mid-April. However, this model is a barebones system, meaning it comes without RAM, storage, or an OS.

If you want a fully equipped A1 X1 with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and Windows 11, the price jumps to $599 (~PHP 34,300)—only $200 cheaper than a similarly specced A1 X1 Pro.

The A1 X1 Pro has a larger chassis, which allows for more ports, storage expandability, and better cooling.

The biggest difference between the two models is the CPU power:

A1 X1 Pro: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (Strix Point)12 cores / 24 threads, up to 5.1 GHz, Radeon 890M (RDNA 3.5), 50 TOPS NPU

The Pro model also features three M.2 2280 slots for storage (vs. two on the non-Pro), and dual 2.5GbE LAN ports (vs. one).

Port Selection & Features

Both models come with a solid range of connectivity options:
2 x 2.5GbE LAN (only 1 on A1 X1)
1 x OCuLink (64 Gbps)
2 x USB4 (40 Gbps)
2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps)
1 x USB 2.0 Type-A (480 Mbps)
1 x HDMI 2.1
1 x DisplayPort 2.0
