New Microsoft Surface Pro launching next week
It was first thought that the next iteration to the Surface Pro 4 will be the Surface Pro 5. And after the Microsoft VP shut down the idea, it turns out the refreshed version will simply be called the Microsoft Surface Pro.
The report comes from famous tipster @evleaks showing the device in its entirety and what to expect. The upcoming Surface Pro will pretty much have the same general appearance as most of the updates will be under the hood. There are reports saying that a Kaby Lake chipset will make its way to the new model along with better battery consumption and performance.
Evan Blass also showed the optional pen and keyboard which will be available in four different colors. The Windows 10-powered Surface Pro will be announced on May 23 in Shanghai, China, together with its pricing and availability. Below are more photos:
